Ein Deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms

One of Brahms' supreme musical achievements and a lasting testament to the humane values we still value today, this Requiem, now more relevant than ever, differs from all others in that Brahms chose the texts himself from Luther's translation of the Bible. We will perform a new arrangement of his original instrumentation with strings, woodwinds and piano.

Perhaps the most poignant line from the text is the very first;
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
